Heewon Lee (이희원), a native of South Korea, is a Georgia-certified P-12 World Language Korean Teacher, Georgia-certified K-5 Elementary Teacher, and an Adjunct Korean Instructor at Georgia State University (GSU), Dunwoody. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Chuncheon National University of Education in South Korea and her master’s degree in World Language Education from GSU. Heewon was an elementary school teacher for about eight years in Korea. After moving to the United States, she started teaching at a Korean school and managed the school as an assistant principal for more than eight years. She has taught both Korean language and K-pop classes at GSU.
